Biography:

Dr Linda Dawson was formerly Associate Dean Research in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Dr Dawson joined the University of Wollongong as Head of School of Information Systems & Technology in May 2010. She has over 20 years experience in information systems and information technology and has worked as a programmer, systems analyst, and as an academic at several Universities including Monash University, the University of Sydney, the University of Tasmania and Deakin University.

Dr Dawson's research focuses on mobile technology, digital business and digital government (including e-health). Dr Dawson is author or co-author of over 60 refereed publications. She has been Chief Investigator or Investigator on several research projects awarded over $1m in research funds (internal and external) since 2001 and has been an Australian Research Council (ARC) Reader since 2010 and NH&MRC Reader since 2014.
